| We all know that different species of fish are attracted to different color trolling skirts in different regions of the world. This rule holds true because most anglers fish those colors more often.
In the Northeast U.S. green, rainbow. blue & white, pink & white and purple & black are popular. Further south in the Carolinas and Northern Florida, green & chartreuse, orange & black and most
color combinations with white work very well. South Florida and the islands, pink and blue with white, green & chartreuse and red & black are the colors that "match the hatch". Over on the gulf coast,
pink & orange, green & chartreuse., blue & white and red & black are the favorites.
We have also found that different species are attracted to different colors. Wahoo tend to strike longer skirts in darker combinations such as black over rainbow, black & orange, purple &
and red & black. Dolphin go for lighter colors green, green & chartreuse, combinations of whites and pinks and blue. Combinations of greens, whites pinks and blues with longer skirts are great for sailfish and marlin.
Tuna seem to like shorter skirts with darker colors in the morning and late afternoons and brighter colors around the mid-day.
With our interchangeable lure system we can quickly respond to the fish’s preference much faster than with traditional trolling lures which require that you switch over to another rigged lure.
